EThekwini Municipality has commenced comprehensive clean-up operations at the Durban Drive-In site following the completion of the repatriation process involving undocumented Malawian nationals.
The operation forms part of the City's commitment to restoring the site and ensuring it is clean, safe and environmentally compliant.
Municipal teams have been deployed to remove accumulated waste and rehabilitate the area to acceptable environmental standards.
