EThekwini Municipality is wrapping up Heritage and Tourism Month with a bang with a tour to the Isithumba Travel Adventure Park in KwaXimba on Friday, 30 September.

Isithumba Travels Adventure Park is an iconic rural village situated deep in a picturesque Durban valley that offers a unique and authentic experience and proudly promotes rural tourism. 

The activities on the day will also serve as a celebration of World Tourism Day which is celebrated annually on 27 September.  The activity-packed day will include a rural adventure, river tours, bike trails, and walking trails. 

To promote Durban Tourism’s Know Your City campaign, the day’s activities will commence at California Dreaming where attendees will be transported on a bus to the KwaMuhle and Mkhumbane museums.  

The bus will then proceed to Giba Gorge, Westown Development which is Shongweni’s new shopping mall before heading to the Isithumba Travels Adventure Park.
