Third Party Prepaid Electricity Purchases Disrupted

THIRD PARTY PREPAID ELECTRICITY PURCHASES DISRUPTED

EThekwini Municipality wishes to inform costumers that the purchase of prepaid electricity tokens via third-party vending outlets is currently experiencing intermittently disrupted. 

Technicians from the Energy Management Directorate are working with urgency to diagnose and resolve the issue to ensure full restoration of services.

While some customers may still be able to purchase their prepaid electricity tokens via third-party outlets, those who are unable to do so are advised to visit the nearest Municipal Customer Service Centres to make a purchase. 

Please note that these facilities accept cash only for prepaid electricity tokens. 

Prepaid electricity tokens can be purchased at the following centres: 

Besters Customer Service Centre: 20 Ntuzuma Access Road

Isiphingo Customer Service Centre: 1 Police Station Road 

Rotunda Customer Services Centre: 1 Jelf Taylor Crescent

UMhlanga Customer Service Centre: 15 Twilight Road

We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this disruption. 

Our teams are working round the clock to restore full vending service as soon as possible.
