SA Army Infantry Formation to Donate To eThekwini Flood Victims

Following the recent floods that left many families in Durban destitute, good Samaritans from all around the world have continuously been in contact with the Municipality to offer assistance to those affected.

Several donations have been received and are being distributed to the affected communities. These include blankets, non-perishable food, clothes and other essentials.

Tomorrow, 22 May 2019, the South African Army Infantry Formation will visit eThekwini Municipality to hand over a sizeable donation of disaster relief essentials to the Municipality. The delegation will be received by the Honourable Mayor, Cllr Zandile Gumede. The donation will then be channeled to the affected communities via the Municipality’s Disaster Management Centre.
