Restriction of Sand/Cover Material Accepted Per Load At Bisasar Road Landfill Site

EThekwini Municipality would like to inform the public that from 1 July, the Bisasar Landfill Site will restrict the volume of sand/cover material accepted to 3.5 m³ per load.

Only bakkies and vehicles carrying mini skips with a maximum capacity of 3.5 m³ will be allowed to dispose sand/cover material at the site.

All commercial customers with loads of more than 3.5 m³ are advised to dispose their cover material at any of the following sites:

• North – Buffelsdraai Landfill

• South – Lovu Landfill

• Inner West – Mariannhill Landfill

The City requests that residents visiting any of the Cleansing and Solid Waste facilities comply with Covid-19 protocols and adhere to onsite instructions. Remember, no mask means no entry.
