PUBLIC NOTICE

The Municipality is aware of the interruption of water supply in areas supplied by the Lotus Park Reservoir.

The interruption is due to a burst on the 300mm diameter pumping main to the reservoir.

A Municipal team is on site for access preparation to conduct an excavation to effect repairs.

Affected residents are urged to note that terrain and location of the pipe is not easily accessible, and soil conditions often cause difficulties in this area.

Repairs are expected to be completed by Thursday, 17 August. And thereafter, the reservoir will start filling up.

Water tankers have been requested to supply affected communities.

Affected areas include:
• Ezimbokodweni
• Lotus Park
• Malagazi
• Malukazi
• Orient Hills
• UMlazi-U
• UMlazi-Y
