Public Notice: Final opportunity to enter gospel icon talent search competition
Aspiring singers are encouraged to make their way to the final round of auditions of the Gospel Icon Discovery Talent Search competition which will be held on 7 and 8 May at the Stable Theatre at 115 Johannes Nkosi Street.
The competition is strictly for solo acts. Entrants should be aged between 16 and 35. Aspirant gospel singers are urged to bring their ID or birth certificates when auditioning.
Due to the recent floods in the City, some scheduled auditions could not take place. Therefore, the City will be hosting a two-day final audition to accommodate for the dates that were missed.
The Gospel Icon Discovery Talent Search competition aims to promote the creative sector which is an important driver of economic growth. The competition also provides a platform for the youth to showcase and develop their musical skills.
