The Municipality is aware of the interruption of water supply in KwaSanti and surrounding areas.

The interruption is due to a power outage which affected operations at the St Wendolins Pumpstation. As a result, water was not flowing to the Washington Heights and Intake Road reservoirs.

Power has since been restored however, the system is still building up storage in order for water to start flowing to affected communities. 

It must also be noted that full system recovery is dependent on demand patterns. 

The following areas are affected:

Intake
Emasayithini
Demat
Welbedatch West
Luganda
Nsizwakazi
Savanah Park
Khoseleni
Klaarwater
Parts of Marianridge
Hlanganisisa road
Fig road 
Progress road
