SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING
Members of the media are invited to attend the special Council Meeting on Thursday, 26 January 2023.
Council is expected to fill the current vacant position on the Executive Committee and the Office Bearer vacancies.
An election process will be undertaken for the Office Bearer vacancies in line with the sections 41A and 48 as set out in Schedule 3 of the Local Government: Municipal Structures Act, No. 117 of 1998, as amended.
Space is limited and accreditation will be reserved on a first come first serve basis.
The election process and Full Council proceedings will also be streamed live on the Municipality’s Facebook page.
