Mayor Xaba condemns uMlazi mass murder

*MAYOR XABA CONDEMNS UMLAZI MASS MURDER*
EThekwini Municipality Mayor, Councillor Cyril Xaba, has condemned the killing of eight people in Umlazi last night.
It is alleged that gun-wielding assailants stormed a house and fatally shot eight people in a hail of bullets.
Mayor Xaba has urged the police to leave no stone unturned in finding the perpetrators of this heinous crime.
He also called on the members of the community who might have witnessed the incident to share information with the police.
"We would like to convey our condolences to the families of the deceased and wish those who were injured a speedy recovery. We have full confidence in our law enforcement agencies, led by General Mkhwanazi in the province, that they will find the suspect and bring them to book," said Mayor Xaba.
Mayor Xaba called for calm in the area and urged the community to give space to the police to conduct a thorough investigation on the matter.
