Mayor Kaunda to give update on progress the city is making in restoring services and economy one month after devastating floods

MAYOR KAUNDA TO GIVE UPDATE ON PROGRESS THE CITY IS MAKING IN RESTORING SERVICES AND ECONOMY ONE MONTH AFTER DEVASTATING FLOODS
 
EThekwini Municipality Mayor Mxolisi Kaunda will on Friday, 13 May, visit various areas that were affected by the recent floods to assess progress made by the City in repairing infrastructure and restoring of basic services such as water and electricity.

The Mayor will also hand over groceries to five shelters for displaced people in Molweni in ward 9. This is one of the areas that were hardest hit by the floods with road, electricity and water infrastructure being washed away.
