MAYOR KAUNDA CONVENES SECOND ETHEKWINI CRIME WEBINAR WITH SPECIAL FOCUS ON INANDA

EThekwini Municipality Mayor Mxolisi Kaunda will, on Saturday 22 August 2020, host the second leg of the Mayoral Community Mobilisation Campaign Against Crime Webinar aimed at bringing together all stakeholders in Inanda in the fight against crime.

Two weeks ago, Mayor Kaunda led the first Webinar which focused on ways to eradicate crime in uMlazi.

Stakeholders and crime fighting structures that will participate in the deliberations include the KwaZulu-Natal Community Safety and Liaison Department, the KwaZulu-Natal Community Crime Prevention Association, the Municipality’s Safer Cities Unit, the South African Police Service, eThekwini Metro Police, Community Policing Forums, men, women and youth forums, association of African nationals, Interfaith and Traditional Leadership, Business Forums, Traditional Healers Forums, Local Clinic Committees, School Governing Bodies, local NGOs and NPOs, sports bodies and arts and culture associations.
