As part of efforts to strengthen and grow the tourism sector in the City, Mayor Mxolisi Kaunda will on Saturday, 12 December, host a Tourism Sector Stakeholder Engagement at UShaka Marine World.

 

With tourism being one of the sectors that was hardest hit by the Covid-19 pandemic, the engagement - to be attended by tourism trade, investment entities and community tourism organisations - will look into the tourism landscape as we usher in 2021.

 

Members of the media are cordially invited to cover and report on this stakeholder engagement where Mayor Kaunda will unpack the City’s milestones in the implementation of the Tourism Recovery Plan, highlight festive season plans with firm tips for holidaymakers of how they can rediscover Durban safely in the wake of Covid-19.
