MEC Mshengu and Mayor Kaunda to Launch 16 Days of Activism for No Violence against Women and Children in Durban
THE MEC for Education and Operation Sukuma Sakhe Champion for eThekwini Metropolitan Kwazi Mshengu together with EThekwini Municipality Mayor Councillor Mxolisi Kaunda will on Wednesday 27 November officially launch the 16 Days of Activism for No Violence Against Women and Children Campaign in Pinetown.
Before the launch MEC Mshengu, Mayor Kaunda and members of the South African National Taxi Council will lead a march declaring a war against gender-based violence from Anderson Park to Pinetown Tax Rank.
This will be followed by the Women’s dialogue that will focus on gender-based violence and women economic empowerment.
