MEC Mshengu And Mayor Kaunda To Assess Rollout of Vaccination Programme
 
It’s all systems go for the commencement of the second phase of the Covid-19 vaccine roll-out in the eThekwini district.
 
EThekwini Metro Champion and Provincial Education MEC and Kwazi Mshengu and eThekwini Mayor Councillor Mxolisi Kaunda will tomorrow, 18 May 2021 visit one of the City’s vaccination sites, namely the Moses Mabhida People’s Park to assess its state of readiness for the vaccine rollout.
 
Phase 1b for the remaining vaccination of health care workers resumed today, 17 May and will run simultaneously with phase 2, which is the vaccination of persons who are aged 60 years and older. People from these categories will be vaccinated at various vaccination sites across the City.
 
Members of the media are invited to the site visit.
