Live Screening of the State of the Nation Address

Live Screening of the State of the Nation Address
 
President Cyril Ramaphosa will on Thursday, 07 February 2019, deliver his second State of the Nation Address (SONA) since he took office in February 2018. To create awareness on the significance of the State of the Nation Address and provide a platform for an open dialogue, eThekwini Municipality will set-up Public Viewing Areas where the SONA will be screened live.
 
Preceding the screening, scheduled for 19h00, there will be a round-table discussion by commentators from various sectors within the Municipality who will give their insight on the expected deliverables to be announced by President Cyril Ramaphosa during the address.
 
Members of the media are invited to the screening and participation in the round-table discussion. They will also have an opportunity to engage commentators on a one-on-one basis post the screening.
