Interruption Of Water Supply In Various Umlazi Sections

The Municipality is aware of the interruption of water supply in various sections of uMlazi.
The interruption is due to constrained supply from the Southern Aqueduct to the uMlazi 2 Reservoir along with its dependent reservoirs.
This has resulted in these reservoirs running critically low, causing some areas to have either no water supply or low pressure.
The City’s water operations team is monitoring the situation and assessing the affected system to resolve the situation.
The following areas are affected:
1. UMlazi A, B, C, D, E, F, K, L, J, V, S, T, G, H, K, L, M, N, P, R, Q, W, U, Y, Z, X, CC, BB, AA, Z
2. Ensimbini
3. Ntabankulu
4. Mangamazini
5. Folweni
6. Mkhazini
7. Qhoseyiphethe
8. Dodoza
9. Toyota City
Water tankers will be dispatched to the affected areas.
