Interruption Of Water Supply In Umgababa And Surrounding Areas

Residents are informed of a planned interruption of water supply from the Amacingo Reservoir due to repairs.
During this process, the Umgababa Pumpstation will be isolated while the reservoir will be drained off water for the removal of submersible pump 1 for repairs.
The repairs will start on 19 April at 8am to 20 April at 1pm.
The recovery of the reservoir will depend on demand patterns.
The following areas will be affected by water restrictions:
• Umgababa
• Umnini
• Area Africa
