Interruption Of Water Supply In Areas Supplied By The Firwood Reservoir

Residents are informed of an interruption of water supply in areas supplied by the Firwood Reservoir.
The interruption is due to a burst on the 225mm asbestos cement pumping main to the Firwood Reservoir. Plumbers are currently on-site effecting repairs.
The repairs are expected to be completed by the end of the day and thereafter, reservoirs will start filling up. However, reservoir recovery will be dependent on demand patterns.
The following areas are affected:
Malvern
Moseley
Northdene
Queensburgh
Shallcross
The Municipality apologises for the inconvenience caused.
