​MEDIA INVITE FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 17 June 2021 GO! Durban Cycle Academy to Open Bike Park in KwaMashu EThekwini Mayor Councillor Mxolisi Kaunda will on Saturday, 19 June open the GO! Durban Cycle Academy KwaMashu Bike Park.
Following the construction of this facility, the academy now boasts four bike parks situated in KwaDabeka, Chesterville, Inanda and now KwaMashu.
The GO! Durban Cycle Academy impacts positively on the lives of young people through their dynamic youth development and active mobility programme.
The academy provides free cycling training, academic support, and life skill opportunities to township children between the ages of six and 18.
The bike parks also promote job creation.
Members of the media are invited to attend the launch of the facility.
