The eThekwini Municipality in partnership with Smart Procurement will be hosting an Enterprise & Supplier Development Business Breakfast. This engagement is to create a platform for corporates, big businesses and local government engage and lay the foundation for the development of SMME’s.

 

Areas of focus will include the following:

 

a) Enterprise Development;

b) Supplier Development;

c) Procurement Opportunities;

d) Preferential Procurement;

e) Supplier Diversity

f) Access to Markets

 

The event is also expected to unpack the BBBEE Codes and opportunities presented by this amendment such as Enterprise and Supplier Development. The event will also showcase the Municipality’s future plans to align programmes to the BBBEE Codes that will support the sustainable growth and development of SMMEs.
