ELECTRICITY has been restored in most of the areas affected by a major power outage this evening, 11 October.
This follows a swift response by the City's Electricity Unit to multiple power outages caused by a trip out at the Klaarwater electricity substation which is a key supply point to the City from Eskom.
The City's technicians are still on site to ensure full restoration of electricity as Shallcross is still affected by the outage.
The Municipality would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
