EThekwini Municipality to Commemorate World Aids Day in Inanda Tomorrow
ETHEKWINI Municipality Operation Sukuma Sakhe Champion and MEC for Education, Mr. Kwazi Mshengu together with Mayor Mxolisi Kaunda will tomorrow, 01 December 2020, lead the Worlds Aids Day commemoration in Amawoti in Inanda, north of Durban tomorrow.
Commemorated this year under the theme: “We’re in this together, Cheka impilo!”, communities are encouraged to unite in the fight against HIV, show support to people living with HIV and remember those who have passed on.
MEC Mshengu and Mayor Kaunda are expected to announce measures government has taken to reduce the HIV infection rate and to caution about the dangers of defaulting on treatment.
