EThekwini Municipality Continues To Promote Arts And Culture Throughout PRC Month

In celebration of Heritage Month, the Municipality’s Parks, Recreation and Culture Unit is continuing with its mandate of engaging with stakeholders and strengthening relations with members of the community through various programmes under the banner “PRC Month”.

The 2019 leg of PRC Month kicks off this Friday, 06 September, and members of the media are invited to a press conference and media tour where the City will unpack this year’s programme. It will feature a string of activities including, but not limited to, a sports summit, arts and books exhibition, urban animal management and urban forestry seminar, national cemeteries conference and a beach cleaning campaign. These activities are aimed at showcasing services provided by the Municipality and creating awareness about how these can be accessed by, and benefit residents.
