ETHEKWINI LIFEGUARDS READY FOR FESTIVE SEASON

EThekwini’s Aquatics Safety team is ramping up preparations to manage the expected influx of beachgoers and swimmers during the festive season.

The City’s Recreation and Parks Directorate will tomorrow, 5 November recognise eThekwini lifeguards for their bravery and professional excellence in saving lives.

These heroes play a vital role year-round, preventing drownings and ensuring public safety through vigilant supervision. 

The Directorate will also unveil new uniforms for beach lifeguards and swimming pool supervisors, reinforcing the City’s commitment to safety and professionalism.
