07 May 2020 For Immediate Release; Closure of Garden Refuse Sites The eThekwini Municipality wishes to inform the public that garden refuse sites remain closed under level 4 of South Africa’s Covid-19 lockdown regulations. However, the Municipality continues with the collection of domestic refuse as per the normal schedule and residents are urged to adhere to the weekly refuse schedule of their respective areas. The public will be informed when the service resume in garden refuse sites.
