City joins Tsogo sun hotels beachfront clean-up
EThekwini’s hospitality sector will join forces with Tsogo Sun Hotels to conduct a clean-up of the Durban beachfront while contributing to fundraising efforts for the Childhood Cancer Foundation South Africa (CHOC).
Durban Tourism supports this campaign which will see around 10 beachfront hotels participate in a clean-up in their vicinity on 18 February.
Also forming part of the clean-up is the Flip Flop Friday initiative on Friday, 18 February which will raise much needed funds for CHOC. Hotel guests and staff will participate by purchasing flip flops for R10 to wear during the clean-up.
Participating hotels include Garden Court South Beach, The Edward, Garden Court Marine Parade, Southern Sun Elangeni and Maharani, Suncoast Towers and Sun Square Suncoast, The Beverly Hills, Garden Court uMhlanga, Cabana Beach Resort, and uMhlanga Sands Resort.
Members of the media are invited to join the clean-up.
