City and COSAFA to Unpack State of Readiness for COSAFA Cup

It is only 13 days left before the kick-off of the much anticipated COSAFA Cup that will be staged in Durban from 25 May to 08 June 2018.
 
The tournament that will serve as a vital preparation for countries who have qualified for Africa Cup of Nations will see 14 countries battling it out at King Zwelithini Stadium in Umlazi and Princess Magogo Stadium in KwaMashu for the group stages and the Final will be held at the Iconic Moses Mabhida Stadium.
 
Countries that will take part in this competition includes South Africa, Mauritius, Angola, ESwatini, Mozambique, Namibia, Malawi, Comoros, Seychelles, Lesotho, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Uganda and Botswana.
 
As the City is getting ready to host this 19th edition of COSAFA Cup, the Council of Southern Africa Football Association, the South African Football Association and the eThekwini Municipality will host a joint press conference to brief the media on the City’s state of readiness to host the games on Wednesday, 15 May 2019.
