City Addressing Power Outage Affecting Parts of Southern Area

CITY ADDRESSING POWER OUTAGE AFFECTING PARTS OF THE SOUTHERN AREA

The City is addressing a power outage currently affecting parts of the southern electricity network. 

The cause of the fault is under investigation, and technical teams have been dispatched to locate and diagnose the issue. 

Once the cause has been established, repair work will commence immediately, and supply will be restored in stages to affected areas.

Substations currently affected include:

Toyota

Isiphingo

Prospecton

Plangweni

UMlazi

Mondi

Sukuma

Mobeni South

Engen Tara 2

Pearce Road

Umbongitwini
