Grant-in-Aid funding is one of the City’s development programmes aimed at providing financial assistance to registered non-profit organisations (NPOs).

Senior Manager of Policy and Administration at the Community Participation and Action Support Unit Xoliswa Mashiane said the funding was approved recently by the Governance and Human Capital Committee.

• Social welfare
• Sports, culture, and recreation
• Economic development
• Skills development
• Faith Based Organisations conducting work for the community at large

She encouraged registered NPOs to apply for the Sundry Grant-In-Aid funding before the closing date.
