Recognising the cruise industry’s growing contribution to the local economy, the City is gearing up to host thousands of visitors from around the world who will explore Durban’s shores for leisure and adventure.

Building on last year’s strong performance, projections for the 2025/26 season highlight significant economic benefits.

Durban’s unique charm will be displayed through cultural showcases and local integration initiatives.

Visitors will enjoy mini pop-up fashion shows, authentic cuisine, craft displays, and storytelling that reflect the City’s vibrant identity.
