Recreation and Culture Unit. Hosting such programmes is key in ensuring that the City and residents realise the impact of this investment,” said Councillor Ntokozo Sibiya, Chairperson of the Community Services Committee.
Councillor Sibiya said inspection of all sport facilities has been conducted and have all been given a clean bill of health. Entrance to watch the games is free and no dangerous weapons are allowed in all facilities.
“It is pleasing to report that the unit responsible for hosting SALGA games has ensured that the facilities are in good condition and meets critical specifications stipulated to host such games,” said Thembinkosi Ngcobo Head of the Parks, Recreation and Culture Unit.
