FAQ: 6 - As a business what tariff options do I have?

Both prepayment and credit metered tariffs are available:

Credit Meter tariffs

These tariffs are available to customers where the full connection fee is paid upfront.

Scale 3: For three phase supplies. i.e. for very large houses.

Scale 4: For Single phase supplies 

Prepayment tariffs

These are for customers who are supplied through an electronic prepayment meter. The options here are: 

• Scale 8: An energy rate equal to the credit meter tariff, (Scale 3&4); where, as with the credit meters, the full connection fee is paid upfront. 
• Scale 9: A very small portion of the connection fee is paid upfront. The cost of the connection fee is recovered through an energy rate which is higher than the Scale 3,4 & 8 tariffs.
