Monday to Friday  6am - 10.45am

Saturday   6am - 9.30am

The market is closed on Sunday and on all South African public holidays.

Extended Trading Hours

Buyers may purchase produce after the official hours, if:

•  Buyer's account contains a credit balance to enable the purchase to take place.
• The Buyer has arranged with a salesman to be available to complete the sale after normal trading hours. 
• If your account balance is insufficient to complete a transaction, you may deposit funds into our First National Bank (FNB) account. 
• Fax a copy of the deposit slip to the market on fax number +27 31 465 4222 and then contact the market department on telephone number +27 31 311 5107 to ensure that your market account has been updated.

Deliveries

Deliveries take place 24 hours a day - 7 days a week, except:

Midday on Saturday to 2pm on Sunday

Deliveries take place from 2pm on the day prior to a public holiday until 2pm of the public holiday.

Farmers' Retail Market

The Farmers' Retail Market is situated on the premises and caters for smaller farmer. Farmers may sell produce personally or use a representative on their behalf.

Table hire is R35 a day.

Tuesday  4am - 1pm

Thursday  6am - 1pm

Friday  4am - 1pm

Saturday 6am - 1pm  

Deliveries

Deliveries take place on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 2pm to 5am the following day.
