Business Conference

Prominent captains of industry will be on hand to share their knowledge and expertise with hundreds of smmes at this years Small Business Fair.

Empowering business conference focuses  on increasing the competitive edge of smmes, is held concurrently with the exhibition.

High profile business leaders who will speak at the conference include Durban Chamber President, Moses Tembe; KZN Minister of Economic Development and Finance, Dr Zweli Mkhize; CEO Pamodzi Investments, Ndaba Ntsele; Brand Pretorius, CEO, McCarthy Holdings, and Sandile Zungu CEO of ZICO.

The conference will focus on topics such as increasing access to international markets, using procurement as a tool for broad-based black economic empowerment and discusses the 2010 Soccer World Cup as a driver of economic growth and business development.

This popular programme sees hundreds of smmes attending the conference in their bid to get useful information on opportunities to grow their businesses

Some of the topics to be covered in the conference include a broad presentation on 2010 business regulations and opportunities, participation of small businesses in the City’s Lead Projects, as well as support programs for SMMEs.
