What we do

The Real Estates Unit provides the following property related services to eThekwini municipality.  This includes:

• The release of municipal property either in support of a specific initiative or surplus to municipal requirements.
• The administration of municipally owned or retained properties, mainly through the lease mechanisms.
• Preparation and maintenance of the Valuation Roll
• Acquiring property or property rights for capital projects and programmes, and special projects.
