Durban Tourism Workshop Looking At 2010

The media is invited to a 2010 Tourism Workshop to be hosted by the Municipality’s Durban Tourism office. Members of the regions tourism industry have been invited to share in the exciting plans for the 2010 Fifa World Cup.

The workshop will cover the following topics:

§    The value of 2010 to our tourism industry

§    Presentation on the stadium, fan parks and public viewing areas

§    Marketing Durban for 2010 – the communication and ‘Play Your Part’ campaigns

§    Legal and licence issues

§    Accommodation verification

§    Durban’s 2010 Transport Operation plan

• §    Attraction and activities

§    2010 Safety and security

§    Service levels
