The Local History Museums collections focus on the rich cultural and historical heritage of the area within the bounds of the eThekwini municipality. Exhibitions and a variety of programmes related to all the communities of the area are presented by the museum at seven site museums located in central Durban, Cato Manor, Pinetown and Westville.
