Another successful day's soccer was had by all competitors with the players enjoying themselves both on the field and off. Twenty games into the tournament with 76 goals scored on the second day, 220 boys from different countries did their cities' proud today. All performing to the best of their abilities, an ever-increasing display of sublime soccer skills are performed by these youngsters. Leaders from both groups are positioned with 12 points after four games. The two Turkish teams continue to dominate the competition with defending champions, Team Durban, proving that they are a force to be reckoned with. Team Durban annihilated Team Bulawayo in a game where there was no shortage of goals. Team Bulawayo opened the account, surprising Team Durban and scoring within minutes from the start of the game. That was the only opportunity they had in Team Durban's goal area. The home side dominated from there on out. The final score was 10-1 with Team Bulawayo assisting the tally by scoring an own goal in the first half. In the first half there was a flurry of goals. The second half Team Bulawayo defended more effectively stopping the easy flow of goals from the talented locals. The surprise of the day saw Team Daejeon hold the log leaders, Team Izmir to a one nil loss. South Korea's, Team Daejeon's young side showed a lot of promise and talent against the Turkish giants. Team Daejeon perfected their slide tackles in today's encounter. Their defence was tested constantly as the Turks probed for goals. "The South Korean side is a very well organised team. Their ground work is superb. They don't need to challenge their taller opponents in the aerial game. They just rely on their skills when the ball is on the ground. And they are everywhere on the field. Very hard workers." applauded Team Bremen's and One Nation Cup organiser Ulli Barde. The twinning schools were a constant support, cheering their teams on, singing war crys and blowing their vuvuzelas. The mix masala of languages and cultures down at the ground make for a very colourful experience. Today (Wednesday) is the big game to watch. Local team will be taking on the Turkish Delights to position themselves on top of the leader board for Group A.
