Durban Set To Host One World Music Festival21 July, 2008 Kirk Franklin will wow the crowd! Durban is set to host this year’s One World Music Festival. Now in its fourth year, it was created to help accelerate the development of tourism in the Durban Metropolitan area and throughout Kwa Zulu-Natal. The festival runs over three days and promises to bring a melting pot of cultures, music, arts, food and traditions from South Africa, New Orleans, the Caribbean, South America and Europe to the people of this city. The festival will be hosted during the weekend of July 25 - 27 2008 at the Sahara Cricket Stadium, Kingsmead, Durban. The festival is a collaboration between SAIG Entertainment and the Durban Tourism and Hospitality Industry. The festival takes advantage of the momentum and well deserved publicity that Durban has gained through hosting other important international events. This year highlightswill include performances by international headliners Kirk Franklin, Musiq Soulchild and Rahsaan Patterson.
