One Stop Centre relocates

​The AsgiSA Hall, situated at 127 Johannes Nkosi Street is the new home of the City’s One Stop Centre. The facility was opened in August to fast-track applications for businesses affected by the July civil unrest.

More than 300 applications for various relief and rebate packages have been processed since the Centre opened.

Businesses can access the following services at the One Stop Centre:

  • Application for the reconstruction of buildings damaged by fire and disconnection of services.
  • Application for rates relief for property owners where the building is completely non-    functional disconnection of services.
  • Application for building plan submissions in respect of properties damaged during the unrest.
  • Application for rates rebate for bed and breakfast establishments.
  • Assistance with the processing of applications.
  • Economic Recovery Fund (EFT forms for payments).
Assistance with funding information
  • SEF/SEDA -Township and Rural Entrepreneurship Programme for Informal Business (Blend Grant).
  • The Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) business recovery fund to assist all businesses (existing and new clients) that operate in sectors the IDC funds. The funding will be available at concessionary rates to ensure significant development impact.
  • Department of Trade, Industry and Competition - Manufacturing Competitiveness Enhancement Programme (MCEP) Economic Stabilisation Fund.
  • EThekwini Municipality’s Development Incentive Policy.
Department of Labour
  • Temporary Employment Relief Scheme (TERS) application process and guidelines.
South Africa Revenue Services
  • Tax relief guidelines for business.
