Your customer care is disgusting!!! Called in to get statements as I have not received them since Feb 2012, they can not email at all! They can not fax more than one month. They are rude and do not know what customer care is! The individual that I had to deal with had no manners and cut the call when I asked for her name to report her!! DISGUSTING!!!!!

My lights have been disconnected due to late payment. I hav paid yesterday the amount in full including da reconnection fee. And I've faxed proof of payment as well can u tell me wen da lyts will b reconnected?

The most petetic service ever. Does the electrical department only have one technition. And the call centre extremely rude. Do they have any training whatsoever? Do they even have basic knowledge of their job description? For the last couple months I've been sitting with no lights for several days. And all you can tell me is that the technition is on there way. Very disappointing!!!

Hello,I'd like to complain about the dirt on Ushaka beach. There ws shoes and household appliances on the shore and there was no sign of anyone trying to clean it up. Also,the public toilets at Ushaka below Moyo-3 of the 5 toilets don't work,the other 2 don't have toilet paper and all the taps for handwashing don't work. You want blue flag beached and market Ushaka as something for tourists to come and see but really,its disgusting and filthy. As a durbanite,I'm embarrassed for you.

I'm disgusted in the service ... Firstly I don't receive my bill my water was disconnect yesterday 25 jan 2013 I went to pay early in the morning and called was told they will be coming ... The time is now 14.33 I have kids at home they have not come and I don't have a drop of water not even to drink ... I call the contact number and was told I have to wait 24 to 48 hours what type of service is that ... You guys are quick to disconnect but not so speedy in reconnecting ... Disgusted in the service considering I've paid and I am still without water ... Please advise

I have applied for a position in the municipality on countless times with no avail.

I understand that I do not meet the requirement of the race group that the position is intended for which I believe is unfair and injust as I represent a minority. I possess excellent skills which would be beneficail to my employer and collegues however am I solely judged by my race instead of my abilities. Ethekwini Is Freaken useless!!!

We are sitting with no water! And no notice was given. This is not called for. The decent thing to have done was to inform residents of Palmview.

I am on call for a private hospital in durban and cannot even go to see my patients because of this.

This is just one more incident to proof how dumb you guys are! All og you sitting behind yourls desks ,not knowing what the hell is happening in the real world.

I know of a mechanic that is worked on my white golf, he is working from the pavement of his house, 41 Drewstead road, reservoir Hills, durban and he is making a killing, I had a problem with his work, now he says that I can take him to court, cos I don't have a leg to stand on, he told me when I first went to him he is registered with the Durban Municipality to operate from his home, he showed me documents which looked official, but I suspect it is fake, his name is Dayanandhan Ramnath I think his I'd starts with 050562, he is robbing the tax department and preying on innocent people like him, arrest him.

I am an electrician at ethekwini electricity, i would like to find out why the senior management is keeping quite about the situation at transmission cables, they know very well that all the employees are not satisfied with the working conditions. I never seen a section where all the employees resent going to work, everything you do your superior's wants to prove a point that u don't know anything, course's that we a entitled too that are done at our training center they do not send us to attend those course's, we have been working for years but we do not getting our competency's there's is that deference between different races some getting better acknowledgement than the other, i really wish they could do something about this

It so hurtful to see your own back bones which is the council being so racists towards indians and whites.I have been applying for so many jobs in the council, to be honest I even went to the extent of bribing council workers to get me in , no response, I believe and wil let everyone know that the durban council are a bunch of racists people who only fix africans jobs, are we so dumb that we can't pick up paper from a garden,are we indians so dumb that we can't remove shit from a gutter?! Oh yes only a african is qualified to do that,or only the black is qualified to get medical aid,benefits,it is that or are you guys scared we wil take your post away from you?,its also hard for us to get benefits and a good wage.we also struggle everyda but it would be nice to apply and actually get good response from you guys, STOP being RACISTS when it comes to giving people jobs, give everyone a chance to make it in life, don't stop us from living a good life.this is to all recruitment officers,  until there is some change in recruiting us  indians,I wil post a complaint on Hello peter and make sure the mayor finds out what his little workers are up to. I think that the people that work at the Ethekwini Municipality Revenue Centre are not helpfull.  I have been struggling to get my monthly statement for what I owe for water account to no avail.  I have called them several times and got bad treatment but in the end my problem has not been solved.  I wish they could be trained on customer care and also give solutions to clients not add stress to the already stressed clients.  I have decided to stop calling because my problem still continues and each time I call I am sent from pillar to post.  This behaviour and treatment is highly un-acceptable especially from such a huge institution.  I am deeply disappointed, angry and helpless.
