It is important for us to understand crime tends that are affecting our communities. This will help us focus on the key area when generating project, safety plans and information. It will also assist to evaluate projects post implementation.

Crime analysis is a process which will ensure that analysis is fed back to the constituencies and there is greater use of this information.

These five key areas of the Strategy represents a joint plan of action for local government and its stakeholders, which includes provincial and national community based structures.
